Forensic and Clinical Psychology
Dr. Delton W. Young is a forensic and clinical psychologist licensed in Washington State and Oregon, and is a partner at Interlake Psychiatric Associates, PLLC, a child/adolescent psychiatry clinic located in Bellevue, Washington. Dr. Young served on the clinical faculties at the Harvard Medical School Department of Psychiatry for nine years and the University of Washington Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences for five years. He is the author of numerous publications in professional journals in psychiatry and psychology and the psychology text, Wayward Kids: Understanding and Treating Antisocial Youths, published in 1999 by Jason Aronson, Inc.

Dr. Young has been in clinical practice for 25 years and private practice for 21 years. He was first licensed in Massachusetts in 1984 and subsequently in Oregon and Washington. His avocation is mountain climbing and nature photography. He worked for many years as a professional mountain guide in North America, South America, Africa and Asia leading mountaineering treks and climbing expeditions.
