Natalie Hale, PhD

Dr. Natalie Hale is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist who has dedicated her career to improving the mental health of children, adolescents, and families. Dr. Hale has more than 15 years of experience and extensive training in the field of childhood traumatic stress. In addition to being a Nationally Certified Provider and Trainer of Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dr. Hale has a wealth of experience delivering evidence-based individual, family, and group interventions for the treatment of a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and adjustment problems in children and adolescents such as anxiety, stress, depression, posttraumatic stress, and problematic sexual behaviors. She has worked with youth in a variety of settings including those involved in foster care and juvenile justice. Dr. Hale received her Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from the University of Missouri – Kansas City and completed the APA Accredited Post-Doctoral Fellowship at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, Center on Child Abuse and Neglect with emphasis areas in Pediatric Psychology and Child Maltreatment. Dr. Hale comes to us from the State of Washington Department of Children, Youth, and Families where she served youth who were placed there following an adjudication for a crime. Dr. Hale previously served as Clinical Assistant Professor in the Psychology Department at the University of St. Louis and more recently, served as Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Medicine.
